Schmidt Service Co.

had a disappointing experience at this shop. The staff was rude and not very respectful. I was also charged a very high price for the repair. After getting their estimate, I called another repair shop and found that the same work could be done for much less. I felt the pricing here was unreasonable. I believe customer service and fair pricing are important. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop.

I'm from Texas and was looking for a local mechanic while here in Savage, Minnesota on work assignment. I had some vehicle issues and struggled to find someone that would be willing to fix or work on it. My past experience with shops here in Minnesota have been tragic. One shop broke my $1,000 mirror. The other shop cross-threaded my oil pan plug. I could go on and on. Needless to say, Brandon and his boys here and pull my truck into the shop and took excellent care of it. These guys know what they're doing in and out like it's the back of their hand. If you need good quality work, trustworthy people and people that's going to take care of your vehicles the same way you do, I would suggest bringing it to Schmidt service company. Let these guys take care of you like they took care of me! Thanks ya boy, Jeremy

Awesome service! Was traveling and encountered an issue about 200mi outside Eagan. Called and explained the situation. They got me in the next morning first thing, diagnosed the problem,( wheel bearings went out on right front, had them replace both sides just in case) ordered the parts and had me back on the road by 2:30pm. Great group of guys!!

I recently took my truck to Schmidt for a drive shaft issue, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was dealing with true professionals. These guys aren’t just parts changers—they’re real mechanics who take pride in their work. They quickly diagnosed the problem, communicated clearly with me about what needed to be done, and got the job done in record time. What stood out the most was their honesty. They didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs or cut corners. Instead, they provided straightforward advice and excellent workmanship. It’s rare to find a shop that genuinely cares about its customers and stands behind its work, but Schmidt Auto is just that. Their quick turnaround time and quality service have earned them a lifetime customer in me. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, skilled mechanic, Schmidt Auto is the place to go. Highly recommended!
